"AS FAR AS I CAN SEE" by Chalida Asawakanjanakit
SOLO Exhibition at Buffalo Bridge Gallery in Bangkok, Thailand
Participation in Galleries' Night Bangkok 2018
Experience the blended space of translated emotions from Chalida's personal journey in Italy and Germany. What you see shifts with time, no position and perspective is the same.
Like the brush touching and dancing on a canvas, her work uses Mixed- Media to share her experience as far as the eye can see.
Nature attracts people, and people are naturally attracted to nature. Many living in metropolitan cities has lost contact how to mange themselves in the wild yet beautiful nature. These photographs capture people embracing themselves in vast nature, showing their strength and fragility of the body at the same time.
Many times I press my shutter when I feel a rush of joy running through my body. Times when the others are feeling joy, with a blast of energy.
It is the moment when we become free.
A person's silhouette can tell many stories.
It is a meditative process to imagine what is shown of what we cannot see completely...
We see forms everywhere, designed and constructed by constantly changing structures. Capturing the relationship between the man made lines and the natural environment.
Water is always in constant motion, reflecting colors of the surroundings according to the passage of time. Strips of organic color pallets dramatically changes during between night and day.
